Leaving Tuesday, 4/28, for San Angelo, Texas. Going to visit Goodfellow and take some pic's. Will be happy to share upon my return. Was last there in March of 1964, hoping I'll remember something.

For all of you who went thru Goodbuddy in the 50's or 60's it not even close to being what you would remember. They wouldn't let me on the base (said I had to have a sponsor with an active military ID or active DOD ID). They did tell me that all the buildings that were there in our day have been torn down and replaced. My wife and I did find the rooming house we lived in but other than that the town itself had changed significantly. The area of town that used to be the center, so to speak, has now become a blighted area. Guess I should have known......
