I can't remember the street I lived on but my best friend lived over on Shady Lane by the swimming pool... Mrs. Buday was our 5th grade teacher until she went back to the States before the end of the year. Jimmy Stewart came to visit the school that year -- it was a big deal!! General Stewart.
I was in the Girl Scouts and we went to see the Philippina Girl Scouts off base. Once we went to a celebration at the Peter Paul Mounds Candy place in Manila - first time I was ever in an air conditioned car, whooppee. Our housegirl's name was Gloria - she was fantastic. Our yardman was Jesus. We knocked mangoes out of the trees in Mango park where we waited for the school bus in the mornings - to watch the ants stream down from their huge nests. My boyfriend's name was...KENNETH WILLIAMS... oh where is he now, LOL. Martha Rolofs was in my class. Hope somebody drops by for a conversation - Pam

Just read your post from a few months ago. I went there in 53-54 and again in 56-58. I was a couple of years older than you. Anyway, if you havent heard about the Clark HS website for anyone who ever attended Wurtsmith or Wagner from the 40s to about 2000 when it closed, you should do that ASAP. It will bring back alll your memories and you can contact just about all who went there. There is a directory with everyone who has signed up with email, phone nr, addresses etc.
